The City Manager reported Ordinance #746 which refers to vacating Spains Alley from Central to Reservoir and platting a new public alley goes hand and glove with this Shell proposal. Councilman La[] ~said the Traffic Commission discussed this thoroughly but made no recommendations. He said there were three alternatives, none of them seemed to be especially good or bad and that they were not ready to make suggestions. The suggestions were: We could have a cul-de-sac at 37th and Reservoir, run one-way traffic going north on Reservoir with south-bound traffic going only as far as the intersection, or have the neighbors crOss through the Shell lot to get from Central to Reservoir.
