Resolution stating State Aid Principal payable and interest payable offered by Jeska
se~m~ded by King, WHEREAS the City of Columbia Heights has issued and sold bonds
dated Feb. t, 1969 in the ~aou~ of $100,000.00 exclusively for the purpose of
tablishiug, locating, relocating, constructing, reconstructing or improving its
SSate-AidHighways or streets in accordancewithlaw. ~EREAS, said City has ir-
revocably pledged to the Sinking Fund from'which said obligations are payable, that
amount of their future State &id allotments as is permissible bM law and needed to
pay the. principal and interest thereon: which principal payments shall be made from
the regular construction account of such State-AidFund and the interest payments
shall be made from their reg~lar State &id Maintenance accsunts all as detailed
herein:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Commissioner of Highways be
and is hereby requested to keep a bond record in his office for the
City of Columbia Heights, Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the
Commissioner of Highways be and is hereby requested upon receipt of
this resolution to annually certify to the State Auditor the sum of money
required for the principal and interest payable on said bonds. Roll
Call - All Ayes.
Resolution offered by Land, seconded by King BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by
the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the City shall
accept for public purposes the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00)
donated by Joseph E. Wargo. Roll Call - All Ayes.
The City Manager recommended that the Council authorize a payment
of $34,763,05 be made to the City of Minneapolis for sewage disposal
charges up to June 30, 1969. Motion by Jeska, seconded by King that
the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to enter into an agreement
with the proper officials of the City of Minneapolis for payment of
sewage disposal from January 1, 1968 to June 30, 1969 based on the
following rates:
$1.00 per connection per year for maintenance charge.
40½¢ per connection per month for 1968 for sewage disposal.
and
56¢ per connection per month for 1969 for sewage disposal.
4.6¢ per 1OO cubic feet of industrial flow of sewage.
