The Invocation was offered by the Rev. Doug Henderson of People's Church.
Motion by Land, second by Logacz that the minutes of the last regular
Council meeting be approved as presented in writing and the reading
dispensed with. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Motion by Logacz, second by King that the following bills be paid out
of their proper funds:

Motion by Land, seconded by King that ~the request be granted for two
persons to attend the Water Works SchOol at the University of
Minnesota April 21 and 23.. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Motion by King, .seConded by Jeska, .that request be granted for th~
City Manager to attend the City Manager's. Institut~ in Mankato,
April 10-11. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Mo~ion by Jeska, .seConded by Land that the lot ~subdivision of December
23, 1964 qran~e~by,~h~Council on December 28, 1964 on Lot '3i, Block 1,
Wal~on's ~~fescinded in that the 10t subdivision request
of Daniel Posner dated· March 14, 1969 for this property be approved
upon rehabilitation of the ho·use, .bringing it up to~ standards. Roll
Call - All Ayes.
Motion by Land, ~seconded by Logacz ~to deny the request 'from Mr.
Reichenberger to appeal the Planning and Zoning Commission's denial
of the lot width waiver to~ build double bungalows on two 65' sites.
Roll Call - All Ayes.
Motion by Land, seconded by King that no action be taken at this 'time
on the Planning Commission's recommendation for alley platting from
43rd to 44th east of Central. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Motion by Jeska, .seconded by Logacz .that consideration of any restaurant
proposed for the dairy store bUilding south 'of the post office be
tabled until a formal reqUest is made. Roll Call - All Ayes.·
Motion by King, seconded by Land that the proposal of Kenneth Wick to
buy the lot at ~43½ and Pierce ~Street in the amount ~f $2,.0.00 and out-
standing specials be accepted and an ordinance be drawn up for same.
Roll Call - Land, King, .Jeska, L0gacz .- Ayes; Nawrocki - Naye.
Motion by King, seconded by Land that the proposal of Gaylord Johnson
to bUy the lot at ~4800 Monroe in the amount of $4,0.00 .plus outstanding
specials be ~accepted and ths City Manager be authorized t~ draw up
an ordinance ~for conveying the same. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Motion by King, seconded by Logacz ~tkat the City Manager be authOrized
to advertise for water ~~Kmain improvement hSarings to be held
at a special meeting April 29 at 8:00 p.m. at Columbia Junior High
School. Roll Call - All Ayes.

Motion by Jeska, seconded by L0gacz that the City Manager be authorized
to advertise for hearings on sanitary storm sewers to be held April 14.
Roll Call - All Ayes.
Motion by King, seconded by Land that the City Manager be authorized to
purchase two Motorola Radios in the amount of $640.00 for each. Roll
Call - All Ayes.
Motion by King, ~seconded by Jeska that the license applications as per
list shall be approved upon payment of the proper fees. Roll Call -
All Ayes.
