The continued hearing was held on the Voss Parking Lot rental and mainten-
ance. A meeting had been held on November 4th with three of the business
men, .Councilmen Jeska and Land, and our City Engineer, and it was agreed
to negotiate for rental of this parking

for boulevard parking and they stated.they would bring a'peti%ioql to the
next meeting for boulevard parking.

Side yard waiver request from Ralph White for 4830 Washington St.~ to build

Mr. H. Dumphy requests permission to move double bungalow f~om 809-11
AOth Avenue, to 1216 A3rd A.venue. Mr. Dumphy was present and stated he
has not decided whether,he would want to put this house on 43rd o~ 43½.
Motion by Land seconded by Logacz, that thematter of moving this double
bungalow be tabled until the next regular meeting. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Fir. Stanley knaus, 3709 2½ St. requests a Home Occupation.'per~it'to do

Motion~by Aand seconded by Logacz, that this permit be approved, as recom-
mended by the Plannzng & Sonzng Commmsszon, and that no more than three
cars, including the owners two automgbiles, be 9n the premises at any one

Mrs.. A.Alexander, 4555 Tyler St. reqgests Home,Occupation permit to con-
duct a Boutique Shop in a small'"structure at the rear of her property.'
Motion by,and seconded by Logacz, that this request be'approved for a
period of one year, and that this business be confined to the accessory
building. This was recommended by, the Pl.& Zoning Com. Roll Call-All Ayes.

The City Manager reported regarding the Hart Mobile Homes trailer lot at
5050 Central Avenue, that a contractor had been hired-to carry out the
directives aK to what has to be done.
A Petition was received for the completion of the.alley between Main and
2nd Street, from 44th to 45th Avenues.
Motion by Land seconded by Logacz, that the City Manager be authorized to
advertise a hearing to be held December 9, 1968, for completion of this
alley. Roll Call,- All Ayes.
Authorization to renew contract with Sanfax Corp. for~ sewer cleaning
solvent.
Motion by Land seconded by Logacz, that the Mayor and City Manager enter
into a contract with the Sanfax Corp. for the purchase of Sanfax on the
same basis as the agreement entered into on November 20, 1967, and
~ the option in the 1967 bid, Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Authorization for two people to attend the 15thAnnual Bituminous Conferencl
at the University of Minnesota, November 20th, 1968.
Motion by Logacz seconded by Land, that this request be granted and that"
registration fee of $12.50 per person be allowed. Roll Call-Ail Ayes.
The request to purchase Stencil Cutter was tabled until, the November 25th
meeting.
Authorization to pay our Annual dues for the International Conference of
Building Officials.
Motion by Logacz seconded by Land, that the annual fee of 885.0'0 be allowed
Roll Call - All Ayes.
Resignation and appointment to Park Board.
Motion by Land seconded by Logacz, that the resignation of Mr. Frank
Novotney from the Park Board, be accepted. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Mr. Dale Jeska arrived at .the meeting at 9:22 p.m.
Motion by Land seconded by Jeska, that Mr. Bill Hollom be appointed to fill
the unexpired term of Mr. Novotney on the Park Bo~ard, which expires in
1970. Roll Call - All Ayes.
The C~ty. Council agreed to meet with Hilltop Village Council on November
18th, 1968 at 8 p.m. in our Council Chambers.
.November 20th, 1968 at 7:30 p.m. was set for salary d~terminations and
to discuss appointments to the Civil Rights Commiss£on.~.
Request ~to call for bids on a 3/4 Ton_ Pickup Truck for the Traffic & Sign
~Department.
~Motion by Jeska. seconded by ~Land, that the City Manager be authorized to
advertise for bids for a 3/4 Ton Pickup Truck, to. be opened November 25,
1968. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.

have the°Minneapolis Gas Co. install two Gas Lights in front of the Public

· he~City Manager reported that November 26th, 1968,.at 8 p.m. a Hearing has
been set on Special Assessments for projects finished this year.

The City Attorney reported receiving a check from M~-. Robert Say in the
amount of $1,500.00 for a judgement we have against Mr. Say.
Motion by Jeska seconded by Logacz, that we accept this check from Mr. Say
in 'the amount of ~1,500.00, in full satisfaction of the Judgment.
