Roll Call: Land, King, Jeska, The purpose of this special meeting is to hold a public hearing on the proposed Budget for 1969. No ~nterested property owners were present in the audience, so it was not necessary to hold the hearing. Resolution offered by King seconded by Land, Setting forth the tax levy for the 1969 Calendar Year. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT: WHEREAS: The City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, has at various times met for the purpose of discussing the budget for the year 1969, and WHEREAS: The City Council has determined that -the following amounts of the Budget be raised by Taxation: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the County Auditor of Anoka County, be and he is hereby instructed and authorized to levy the following amounts for t~e year 1969 for varioub City Funds, as follows: GENERAL FUND: OPERATING~u~8 ~ P.E.R.A. Recreation Civil ~efense ~nd Storm Sewer Construction Storm Sewer Bond Retirement Roll Call - Ail Ayes. $751,675.00 26,600.00 23,000.00 2,000.~00 15,000.00 . 55t000.00 $873,275.00 Resolution offered Dy Logacz seconded by Jeska, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Col%ur, bia Heights, that the water rate for Columbia Heights residents be set at $3.30 per quarter for the first 600 cubic feet or less, and 35¢ per hundred cubic feet additional water used, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the water rate for users'outside of the City of Columbia Heights, be set at 83.75 per quarter'for the first 600 cubic feet or less, and 40¢ per hundred cubic feet for additional water used. Said rates to be effective December 1, 1968. Roll Call - All Ayes. Resosuti6n offered by Je~ka seconded by King, BE IT-H~REBY RESOLVED by the City ~Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the Sewer Disposal charge be set at $2.00 per month, per family unit~ and 82.00 for the first unit and $1.50 for each additional units in multiple dwellings, per month, in Columbia Heights; and that the sewer disposal charge for commercial buildings be established at: $0.10 per 100 C.F. 1st 15,000 C.F. .04 " ' ' Next 285,000 C.F. .025 " ' ' Next 600,000 C.F. . and .0X " " " over 900,000 C.F. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said'charge shall become effective from and after December 1st, 1968.
