Biedny to subdivide Lot 5, Block 2,Anderson Request.by Frank & Helen .d __ subdivision was discussed and Mr. ,Biedny_pre.sent.e Third Addition. ThiSwanted to subdivide his lot and the possible loca=lon plans as to how he of ~the house he wished to bui~d.[ several residents, from ~this area were present and voiced themselves aS being against this subdivisionas they thought the Lots should remain as they ·were platted originally. Motion by Land seconded by Jeska, that this subdivision request be denied. Roll Call , All Ayres. The City Manager .reported on informal bids he had received on ·tree trimming on Reservoir Blvd. as requested. Costs .ranged from $10.00 to $31.50. per tree,~ for trimming, topping and pickup or. branches and~debris.. Motion by King seconded by Jeska, that the City Manager be authorized advertise a hearing to be held October 9, 1967, on tree~ timming on Reservoir Blvd., between 37th and 45th ~Avenues.. ~. Motion by King seconded by Land, that.the City Manager be authorized.to advertise for bids on Watermain installation on West side of Central Avenue, between 51st and 53rd Avenues, to be opened September 25, 1967. Side Yard waiver request from Mr. Wesley Kowaliuk, 473L Chatham Road~ to build a garage 2 feet from lot line ~nstead of required 3feet. -Motion by 0Land seconded by L~gacz, that·this waiver request be granted. Request from Richard Jones, 5157 Sixth Street for a Home Occupancy Permit to'conduct a dealership for Kamp KraftCamping Trailers at.his home. Motion by King seconded by Jeska, that ~-this request be granted, subject to the recommended restrictions of the ~Planning & Zoning Commission, which is that no camping .t~ailers are to be parked outside~the garage. ~ Motion.by Jeska seconded by King, that-the Mayor and City Manager.be auth- orized to enter into a~contract with S%.John's University Broadcasting, Inc. for installation of an Antenna on our Water Tower. The-City Manager reported that the re-assessment hearings would.be held at ~the Fi~ld-House. on Sept~mber 25,26 and 27, from !~to 9 p.m., and letter will be sent outto each property owner indicating the market value of their property. Paving of Stinson Blvd. was discussed in respect to the ~offer 'of APaChe Corp. for financing Columbia Heights share on this project. .Mr. Brown will have a report proepared on our State Aid roads~ as to.their~condition and estimated cost of remaining construction work. Motion by King seconded by Land, that Crown Sidewalk Co. be paid the sum of $46, 553; 74, Estimate $3-for~concrete work , Project $6703. Roll. Cal~ ~ All Ayes. The City Engineer was asked to get something done immediately'on the ~drainage problem back of 3747 Buchanan~ St. Motion by Jeska seconded by King, that the City Manager be authorized to ad~vertise for bids on ~the following city owned lots, bids to be opened October 23rd, 1967: So.'l/2 Lot 11 and all of Lots 12 thru 15, Block 5, Valley V~iew; Lots 4,5,6,7,8,Block 1, Apache Heights; Lots 42,43,44 and 45, Block 89,~'~C.H, ~nneX. Roll. Call -All.AYes. 89. The City Attorney was asked to draw up an ordinance establishing a uniform election day for city elections.
