First reading of Ordinance No.590, Being an ordinance authorizing the
purchase by the City of Columbia Heights of certain real estate known as:
Lots 3,4,and 5, Block 64, Columbia Heights Annex, for City Library
purphses.
Motion by King seconded by Orendorff, that the license applications as
per attached list be approved upon payment of the proper fees. .Roll
Call - All Ayes. :
Motion by King seconded by Nawrocki, that 'the second regular council meet~:~
lng in February, be set for February 23rd, at 8 p.m., inasmuch as
Monday, February 22nd is a legal holiday. Roll Call - All Ayes.

permit to Advanced Dry Wall Company, to erect an addition to a present
Duilding at 3911 University Ave.
Motion by Land seconded by King, that-the 3oecial Use Permit be ~ranted to
Advanced Dry Jall Co, under Section 5.7B, Subsections 5 and 7, of Ordinance
462, for the use of-the property designated in the application for a use as
warehouse and machine shop facilities, with certain reservations, 'to wit:
1. That the existin~ buildin~ on the north end of the property, and nearest
University Avenue, be demolished and removed within 5 years from the date
of the grantin~ of 'the special use permit.
2. That parking spaces will De furnished in accordance with this type of
usage, i.e. not less than one parking space for each three employees on
any single shift, or a minimum of 9 parking spaces at the present time.
3. That the parkinj area in question be permanently surfaced before the
certificate of Occupancy is granted.

prepare an ordinance for Colu,~bia Heights.
