Roll Call - A].i Ayes. Hearing held on alley blacktopping from 3~th to Edge,~oor between 2nd & 2~'~. A.n estimated cost of less than $1.00 zo~ .... storm sewer and 81.75 for blackto~. surfacing, making a total of $2.75, was made by the City Engineer. Motion by Nawrocki seconded by Orendorff, that the City i~anager be authorized to proceed with the paving project in this alley in the 1964 construction season, on condition that the necessary stor~ sewer easements are given, Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Request for subdivision from ~1rs. Carl Moe, 4200 Tyler St. to divide Lot 7, Block 10, Aud. Sub. of ~. 2nd Sub. into two Lots, one facing k~ler and the other 42nd Avenue. P & Z Com. granted lot mize waiver on 5/5/64. Motion by Orendorff seconded by Land, that this request be granted uoon payment of outstanding special asse~s~.en~s of $29.10. Roll Call-Ail Ayes. Request for subdivision from P. odney Sillman, 2205 Innsbruck Pkwy. to add the ?~est 10' of Lot 10, to Lot 9, Block 11, Innsbruck 3rd Addn. Motion by Orendorff seconded by Land, that this request be granted, and the special assessments remain against the present building sites. Roll Call - All Ayes. ($2,211.01 on each Lot) Request for subdivision from Clarence Holsten, to divide Lo~4 and 6, Blocks 11 and 10, Aud. Sub.of .~.S.A.3rd, into three building sites. Several residents were present stating they were against double bungalows being built on these lots, although these lots are zoned R-2. granted and that Mr. Clarence Holsten agree to pay the oustanding _specSal assessments of $1,453.43. Motion by Nawrocki Seconded by Land, that the City Manager be instructed~ to withhold ~ any building permits on this Property in above subdivision, until the plans have been~presented to the planning & Zoning Commission for their approval.~ Roll Call - All Ayes, Petition received for alley surfacing between. Request from Activities~ Committee to operate a Bingo Stand in connection with the Columbia Heights Jamboree to be held June 19, 20 and 21st,1964. Several residents from the area were present and. objected to the lot on the corner of Pennine Pass and ,N'orth ~'r~tand Crest not being iucluded in this Plat and made a larger lot than at present. (This plat included ~ lots) Plotion by Land seconded by Orendorff, that the. preliminary Plat of '~2{illtop Po~rth Unit be approved as revised, showing ~lock ! to include 9 lots instead of S, creating a 5~ foot buildi~9 site on Lot ! and Lots 2, 3,4 and 5 to be an average of 5s feet. BelHar Builders request gtilities for Block 3, l-lilltoe. Motion by rTawrocki seconded by Orendorff, that the City i, lanager be authorized to draw up plans and e:~ter into an agreement with BelMar Builders, for utilities in Block 3, with the provision that the entire engineering cost ~lus any extras, be rei',_~.oursed by the affected -oroperty to the City of Colu~'nbia Heights. The Park Supt. requests that -~.~e advertise for bids to be opened Play 25th, on Sodding in McKenna, Mathaire and Gauvitte Parks, and Asphalt construction in Huset, NcKenna, Mathaire and Gauvitte Parks. Hills. Roll Call - All Ayes. The City Engineer will submit a report on Curb,Gutter, Alley Paving and Side- walk construction, also utility installations for 1964, at the next regular meeting. Motion by Nawrocki seconded by orendorff, that the City Treasurer be author- ized to pay Lester Kotval the s%~ of $6250.00 for Lot 3, Block. 1,~ Silver Lake Addn., in accordance with the condemnation award for Park purposes. Roll Call - All Ayes, Motion by Nawrocki seconded by Land, that the City Attorney be authorized to negotiate for the purchase of Lot 2, Block 1, Silver Lake Addition, with the property owners.for an amount up to $6,000, Roll Call - Ail Ayes.. Motion by Nawrocki seconded by Orendorff, that the.license applications as per attached list be approved with the exception of the Frank P. Micek application, upon payment of the proper fees.
