Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by Orendorff seconded by King, that the license applications be granted as per attached list, upon paymsnt of the proper fees. Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by King seconded by Land, that the On and Off Sale Beer License and Restaurant License application of Floyd F. Applin, 547 - 40th Ave. be granted upon payment of the proper fees. The City Engineer e~olained that the grade of this alley is rather flat and slightly under the requirement for bJb~minous paving. Motion by King seconded by Land, that the City Manager be authorized to proceed with installation of bituminous surfacing,of this alley for 1964 construction. Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by Nawrocki seconded by Land, that the City Manager be instructed to investigate the use of the alley between 2nd & 2~, from 37th to 38th, by trucks, and report back at the next council meeting for appropriate action. Roll Call - All Ayes. Hearing held on Proposed change in Bus Routes in Colu/~]bia Heights. Mr. Sundstrom from the Twin City Bus Co. was present and explained the new proposed bus routes in Columbia Heights, and answered questions from people in the audience and council members. Motion by King seconded by Orendorff, that the new Bus route proposal pre- sented by the Twin City Bus Co. be approved, provided Bus ~10 be looped from 44th and University, south on University to 40th Avenue, thence east to Central Avenue, during the hours that Bus ~18 is not running. Motion by Nawrocki seconded by King, that the City Manager and MayOr-- be authorized to enter into a lease agreement for a period of'two years, commencing Apr%~ 1, 1964, for the property at 558 40th Avenue, at the monthly rate of $140.00, with the proviso'~that'the City Could SUb-lease a portion of this building.
