Motion by Nawrocki seconded by Orendorff, that Berglund-Johnson be
awarded the bid for the Shelter Building and Wading pool for McKenna
and Huset Parks, at a total cost of $38,790.00, as per bid tabulation.

Resolution offered by King seconded by Land, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the
City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Columbia Heights to engage a
technician to regulate, repair and maintain all of its signal equipment
on all signalized intersections in the City of Columbia Heights, and
WHEREAS, the warranty on the Central Avenue signals installed in 1962
will expire before January ~ 1964, and-
W~REAS, such services can be obtained from the Minnesota Highway
Department at cost of parts, equipment and labor
BE IT THEREFORE REJOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager of the City of
Columbia Heights be authorized to enter into an agreement with rgw
Minnesota Highway Department, subject to termination on thirty (30)
day written notice by either party, whereby the State of Minnesota will
maintain all control and detection equipment, wiring, and necessary
technical service on all signals in the City of Columbia Heights;
located on State Highways; the City will furnish all necessary labor and
do such routine maintenance as necessary which does not involve wiring
or the control equipment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City shall reimburse the Minnesota
Highway department for all parts, equipment, and labor at the Minnesota
Highway Department cost, within 30 days after receipt of bill.

Resolution offered by Nawrocki seconded by King, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED
by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the City
Treasurer be and she is hereby instructed to transfer from the Liquor
Fund as follows: $100.00 to the Band Fund, and that there are sufficient
moneys in sand Liquor Fund to make such transfer. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Resolution offered by Nawrocki seconded by Orendorff, BE IT HEREBY
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the
City Treasurer be and she is hereby instructed to transfer from the
Sanitary Sewer Fund as follows: $30,000.00 to the Storm Sewer Fund,
and that there are sufficient moneys in said Sanitary Sewer Fund, to
make such transfer. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Subdivision-request .received from Howard J. Dumphy,. 1825 4ana Avenue,

Motion by King secOnded by Orendorff, that this request to divide' Lot 2,

Motion by Orendorff seconded by King, 'ghat the subdivision of the south
