Co. 1360 Highway ~8,New Brighton, Plumbing Complaints have been received about un-sanitary conditions in alley bwtween Fillmore and Pierce, 46th to 47th (no garbage can covers) and the City Manager was asked to check this and order owners to clean up. Report and discussion on parking lot area 40th and Central at July 1st meeting. Motion by Orendorff seconded by McCline, that Hartse Excavating Co. be awarded the bid for Park grading, topsoiling and storm drains at Gauvitte, Mathaire and McKenna Parks at a cost of $49,982.75,as per bid Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by Nawrocki seconded by McCline, that Emerson Mobil Service be awarded the bid on Gasoline from local station on both regular and premi~a,; and Midland Cooperatives,Inc. be awarded the bid on gasoline (regular) and Diesel Fuel delivered, as per bid tabulation attached. Motion by McCline seconded by Nawrocki, that the meeting adjourn at 12:55 a.m. -~ .,. i;t' Secretary to the City Council .~.,11 Call -/Ail Ayes. - MAYOR - Pro~-~ OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Special Meeting July 1, 1963 meeting called to order at 8 p.m. Roll Call: Armstrong, King, Nawrocki, Orendorff - present. McCline - absent. Award of bid on Storm Sewer, Sanitary Sewer and Watermain installations. Motion by King seconded by Orendorff, that Petrowske & Ross be awarded this bid on Project 6301, at a total amount of $43,850.15, as per bid tabulation attached. Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by Nawrocki seconded by King, that the matter of the bids for regular and premium gasoline from local station, which was awarded to Emerson Mobil at the June 24th meeting, be referred to the City Attorney for consideration and report back at the next meeting. Roll Call-All Ayes. ~nsideration of resignation of Health Inspector. Mr. Hebzynski was present and this matter was discussed with him, but no decision was reached. The City Manager said he would check with other communities as to the duties of their Health Inspector. The Electrical, Heating and Building Inspectors jobs were also discussed and the City Manager was asked to report July 8th on his investigations. Parking proposal for business district based on need and proximity. This was discussed but no action taken. It was decided to meet in- formally on Tuesday, July 9th at 7 p.m. for more discussion. The City Manager reported regarding missing garbage can covers in alley between Fillmore and Pierce from 46th to 47th, and that this was being taken care of by our Health Inspector, who would taken the owners into court, if necessary. Motion by Orendorff seconded by Nawrocki, that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to enter into an Agreement with the State Highway Department, regarding parking restrictions on 44th Avenue between Central and Reservoir Blvd., being consistent with State requirements for State Aid Streets. Roll Call - All Ayes. The City Attorney reported he was working on acquiring property for park purposes and everything was set except the Weir property. Subdivision request from Bob Bird to divide Lots 2 thru 5, Block 4; Lots 2 thru 8, Block 2; Lots 1 thru 6 and Lots 9 thru 14 in Block 3, Parkview Terrace. Motion by Orendorff seconded by Nawrocki, that this subdivision request of Bob Bird be put on the agenda. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Motion by Orendorff seconded by Nawrocki,That the subdivision request of the above lots in Parkview Terrace as listed on the original request be granted, and that the subdivision be made of record in the Register of Deeds office. Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by Orendorff seconded by Nawrocki, that lot size waivers be granted on the three lots subdivided in Parkview Terrace described as follows: Lot 4, except the south 3 feet and except the north 9 feet; North 9 feet of Lot 4 and South 41 feet of Lot 3 and Lot 3 (Ex. south 41 fee feet) and South 29 feet of Lot 2.
