Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by McCline seconded by King, that John Murzyn be appointed Weed Inspector for Columbia Heights for 1963, and Richard Kudak as assistant. Roll Call - All Ayes. The city Manager requests authorization for attendance at Municipal Schools as follows: Institute for~Police Chiefs (1) Water Works O-erators' School (2) Sewage Works Operators' School (2) Public Works (2) Mayors and Councilmen's School (3) City Managers' School (1) Motion by McCline seconded by Orendorff, that the request to attend the various Municipal Schools, be granted and the necessary expenses be paid. Roll Call - All Ayes. Two injury claims were presented, one from Helen S. Lilledahl and one from Fred H. Haines. Motion by King seconded by Nawrocki, that th~seinjury claims be turned over to the Insurance Committee, and request a progress report for the April 8th meeting. Roll Call -All Ayes. A bill was received from Wallace Cates for $350.00 to repair a broken sewer tile in front of 1233 37th Avenue. Motion by Nawrocki seconded by King, that this claim be referred to the City Manager for further investigation and report back at the next regular meeting, March 25th. Roll Call - All Ayes. First reading of Ordinance No.558, Rezoning the Northeast corner of 40th & University to Cl. The Minnesota Highway Department Plans for 53rd Avenue were discussed and it was decided to try and arrange a meeting with Fridley and the adjoining property owners. Resolution offered by Orendorff seconded by McCline, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, that the City Treasurer be and she is hereby instructed to transfer from the Liquor Fund as follows: $4,872.27 to the Fire Fund, and that there are suff- icient moneys in said Liquor Fund to make such transfer. Motion by King seconded by McCline, that the license request of Apache Taxicab Co. be tabled until the next regular meeting, to give our City Attorney time to study the situation/ Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by King seconded by McCline, that the license request from Tom & Jerry's Garage, 900 - 40th Ave. for 3 Gasoline Pumps and Cigarette, as well as the application for Solicitors license from George G. Frahm, be approved upon payment of the proper fees and approval of proper inspectors. Roll Call - All Ayes.
