Motion ~y King seconded by, McCline,.tha~ the City Manager be a~thorized
to proceed-with installation of Cub, Gutter, Blacktop and'necessary

leads and catch basins on Washington 51st to 53rd and Sullivan Drive 7th
to Washington, when the land usage on the east side of Washington is com-
mitted so that the sewer and water can be stubbed out. Roll Call-All Ayes.
Motion by King seconded by McCline, that the City Manager be authorized
to proceed with necessary storm sewer installation in Sullivan Drive as
necessary, to allow for surfacing. Roll Call,- All Ayes.
Letter was received from Clarence Olson, 1020 Gould Ave. regarding usage
of his house as a duplex, and also a petition presented signed by pract-
ically all of his neighbors, approving this duplex usage.
Motion by Orendorff seconded by Nawrocki, that Clarence Olson be granted
a certificate of occupancy at 1020 Gould Ave. for separate living quarters
on the first and second floors of said building, for a period of five
years, or during his occupancy, whichever is less, and at the end of this
time the building will revert to a single family dwelling, and said permit
to be granted only upon approval of the Fire Chief and Building Inspector,
and a copy of this motion be recorded with the Register of Deeds. Roll
Call: McCline, Nawrocki, Orendorff - Ayes. King & Armstrong - Naye.
A request was received from John Seman for subdivision of Lot 9, Block 1,
Walton's Sunny Acres as follows: N~ of Lot 9 - 66.25x299.49 and S½ of
Lot 9 - 66.24x299.49, also lot size waiver.
Motion by King seconded by Orendorff, that this request be granted as
requested and the special assessments be divided equally on the two lots.

A request was received from Gordon R. & Geraldine L. Soderquist for sub-
division of the No.150 ft. of the So.183 ft. of the W 90' of the E 120'
of Lot 7,Aud. Sub.~15 Revised.
Motion by McCline seconded by King, that this lot subdivision request
be referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission for action. Roll
Call - All Ayes.
A request was received from the Park Board for the acceptance of plans
as they apply to McKenna, Gauvitte and Mathaire Parks, also order
working drawings and specifications for the priority construction as
outlined in the estimated schedule.
Motion by McCline seconded by King, that this request be granted and
that this is basically the approval of Phase 2 on the three parks.

A request was received from Wayne Tuomie, owner of Lots 6 thru 9,
Block 2, Hilltop 2nd Unit, for the opening of Stinson Blvd. to provide
access to these lots, also installation of sewer and water.
A letter was received from W.A. Wilkinson requesting the opening and
completion of Stinson Blvd. on the eastern boundary of Hilltop and
Hilltop Second Unit. (Mr. Odell present and presented this letter)
Motion by King seconded by McCline, that the City Manager be auth-
orized to advertise a hearing to be held March 25th, for the opening
and utility installations in Stinson Blvd., from 45th Ave. to northern
boundaries, all or any part thereof. Roll Call - All Ayes.
A request was received from Mr. Cottrell, Police Chief, for permission
for Mr. Hedblad to attend a 2 week course on Fingerprint Classification
~~ conducted under the ~nnesota Police Training Program at the
New Brighton OrdinanCe Plant, Feb. 25th thru March 8th.
