this matter as they were in the process of negotiating plans for the

The City Attorney reported regarding the request for extension of Bus
service and that a letter has been received from the ~!'%oin city Lines, Inc.
stating they could not consider such an extension at 'this time. ~.Lr.

Commission.

to advertise for bids on one new Squad car with trade-in, to be opened

to advertise for bids on a 1/2 ton Truck for the Park Department, to be

First reading of Ordinance 57o.556, Granting to the i~linneapolis Gas Company,
a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, its
successors and assigns, permission to use the streets and public places
in the City of Colu;t]bia [~eights for the construction, maintenance and
operation of a system of ~ains, pipelines and other facilzties for the
manufacture, distribution and sale of gas, subject to certain terms and
conditions, and prescriOing the rates to be charged therefor, and re-
pealing all ordinances, or psrts of ordinances inconsistent herewith.
The City Engineer reported that the County Engineer wants to hold a
hearing on the feasibility of finishing 4Otb Avenue between Central
and Reservoir Blvd.
