HomeMy WebLinkAboutMay 3, 1960OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Special Meeting ~Iay 3, 1960 Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. Ail members present. Mayor Armstrong declared -the primary purpose of 'this meeting is in connection withopera~±~ Alert 1960, and ~o Reinhart is with us tonight. Mr. Reinhart reported there was nothing today that effected Columbia Heights other 'than our Fire Department dispatehed a truck to Anoka and all Policemen were on duty and some were designated to the Lift Station and others to evacuation routes. The elementary schools held an evacuation at 3 p.m. but this did not include the Parochial school on accoutn of their bus schedule. Mr. Bassett., Fire Chief was present and reported that everything was working very satisfactory today. Regarding Innsbruck, our City Attorney and the attorney for Acres Inc. are working together to reach an agreement. Motion by Orendorff seconded by McCline, that the City Manager be authorized to pay Sinderson & Oberg 8488.00, for their work in -the meter shop, ,out of the proper funds. Roll Call - All Ayes. Motion by McCline seconded by Chies, that the meeting adjourn at 8:02 p.m. Roll Call - All Ayes. OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Regular Meeting May 9, 1960 Meeting called to order at 8 p.m. Roll Call - King, McCline, Chies, Orendorff - present. Armstrong - absent. Invocation offered by Reverend Waite of Shiloh Bethany Church. Motion by Chies seconded by Orendorff, that we dispense with the reading of the minutes of the previous meetings. Roll Call - All Ayes.
