Special Meeting
November 12, 1958
Meeting called to order at 7 p.m.
Roll Call - Ail members present.
The purpose of this meeting tonight is to consider three items.
Eitst, sewer service for Hilltop shopping center, second the claim
on oil damage to car, and third the status of the Collins case.
The Engineering department reported that
In order for the Central Plaza Shopping Center to connect to the
North Trunk sewer a lift station would be necessary.
Motion by King seconded by Julkowski, that the City Manager be
authorized to negotiate the necessary contract for sewer service
to Central Plaza, and also prepare an alternate proposal for
cbnsideration with Hilltop Village. Roll Call - All Ayes.
The City Attorney reported that an agreement had been reached with
the party who claimed oil damage to his car.
Motion by Julkowski seconded by King, that the bill for $30.00 from
Marlyn R. Hennen forl~ages sustained to his motor vehicle during
the month of October, ~ile parked at 4211 Jackson Street, be paid.
Roll Call - All Ayes.
The City Attorney reported kh~kxkk~ on the status of the Collins
case, and that a note of issue will be filed, which will put the
case on the calendar call.
The Secretary left the meeting at 7:40 p.m.
as secretary.
George Brown took over
The matter of Collins remodeling was brought up and discussed.
~. Kvalheim read portions of Ordinance ~171 regarding non-conforming
building. The City Manager was directed to have Mr. Collins
cease his work on the western portion of his building.
Discussion of possibility of allowing Mr. Harstad to drill holes for
par~ng.~eters.. No action taken.
Motion by Julkowski seconded by Chics, that the meeting adjourn at
8:15 p.m. Roll Call
