to the following condibions (1) filing a copy of the easement, across private
property, in the city office (2) paying the proper fee, (3) statement in
writing from the owner of the line he is to connect to, stating that the con-
nection is satisfactory to him. Roll call - all ayes.
Motion by King, seconded by Chies, to adjourn at 12:10.

King, Stopka - present. ~olm - absent.
Also presebt was Erwin A. Peterson, Attorney representing Mr. Heryla.
Mr. Stopka announced that this hearing was for the purpose of reviewing
Peter Heryla's suspension from the City street crew, his Hearing by the
Merit Commission, and his subsequent ~awissal.
The matter was discussed ~ no action was taken.
Motion by King seconded by Julkowski, that the meeting recess until Tuesday,
August 20th, at 7:30 P.M. RoI1 0~ll - All Ayes.

Also present were members of the Fridley Village Council, Village Manager,
Village Engineer and Mr, Minder of the Minder Engineering Company, and
a number of residents, most of them from the Roslyn ?ark area.
The project was explained fully and audience questions were answered.
It was decided to meet with the State Highwa~ Department next week in regard
to it's share, the meeting to be attended by as man~ council members as possible,
the Engineers ahd Attorneys of both Columbia Heights and Fridley.
