A date for a Hearing on the University Avenue Storm Sewer project will be set at the June 25th meeting. A request ~s received from Thomas W. and Ruth M. Clark, to park their 40 foot trailer house at 4757 -6th Street N.E. for a period of one ye. ar. Motion by Hosch seconded by Knutson, that this request be denied. Roll CaLl - Ail Ayes. Secre.tary to City CobncLl ¢" Special Meeting June 17, 1957 Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. Stopka, present. Knutson, absent. Roll Call - Holm, Hosch, Julkowski, The method c~ payment for Mosquito control was discussed. The City Attorney gave the info~mation that according to a State Ruling, no more than 1 mill could be added to taxes for Mosquito control, which would amount to around $4,000.00. The City Manager stated he ~uld confer with the Department of Agriculture regarding the method approved to be. used. The decision on awarding of bids and ~ethod of pa~u~.ent w~11 be made at a special meeting to be called in a day or two. The Engineer's report on Municipal State Aid System route selection and needs stud~ wes discussed, a~d he was asked to submit his proposal to Mr. Evans, County Division of Minnesota State Highway Department. It was agreed to hold over until the next regular meeting the matter of signing Agreement with Minnesota Highway Department for Traffic Signal to be installed at 4Oth and University Avenue N.E. The change in construction of storm sewer in Mathaire Addition was discussed. The City Attorney is going to check into this to determine the proper method of handling this, whether by Contract Amendment or emergency Ordinance.
