A Hearing was held on Special assessments before adopting the Assessment
Rolls. '
Resolution offered by Julkowski seconded byKing, adopting assessment rolls for the
following local improvements and determining that said improvements be made and
ratif~ng and confirming all other proceedings heretofore had: Nos.288,289,290,291,
292,298,3~,3~,3~2,3~,3~,3~2,3~2A,3~3,3~4,3~5,3~6,3~6A~7,3~7A,3~8,32~,32~,322,
325,325A,328,329,329A.
WHEREAS, The City Council of Columbia Heights, Minnesota, met on the 4th ds~ of
November~ 1957, at the City Office in said City, being the time and place set when
and where all persons interested could appear and be heard by the Council with re-
spec% to benefits, .and to the proportion of the cost of making the local improve-
ments above described, a notice of such hearing been'heretofore duly published as
required bylaw;, and,
%~tE~EAS, this Council has heretofore estimated and fixed the cost of such local
improvements and has p~epared an assessment roll therefore..
TBE CITY COULCIL OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS HEREBY-RESOLVED: ,
Section I. That this Council does hereby adopt the aforesaid assessment rolls
known and described as "Assessment Rolls for Lecal Improvements No.288,289,290,
291,~92,298,300,301,302,310,311,312,312A, 313,314,315,316,316A, 317,317A,318,320,
321,322,325,325A, 328,329,329A~
Section II. 'ihat-this Council hereby finds and determines that each of the
lots .and parcels Of land enumerated in said assessment rolls was and is especially
bene£itted by such improvement in an amount not less than the ~mount set opposite
the description of each such lot or parcel of land respe6tively in said assessment
rolls in the col~u headed "Amount of Proposed Assessment." And this Council
further finds and detemmines that the proper proportion of the cost of such improve:~
ment to be especially assessed against such lot or parcel of land is the ~mount set
opposite the description of each such lot or parcel of land respectively in ma~d
assessment rolls in said column headed "Amount of proposed Assessment."
Section III. That .-said assessment rolls be and the same are hereby adopted
as the assessment rolls the follow,ring local improvements hereinbefore described,
and that said assessment rolls shall be hereafter known and designated as "Assess-
merit rolls for Local Improvements No.288,289,290,291,292,298,300,301,302,310,311,
312,312A, 3t3,314,315,316,316A, 317, 3!7A,,318,320,321, 322,325, 32 SA, 328,329, 329A.
Section IV. That said .assessments shall be payable in annual installments
for a period of from one ~of~e~ars on or before the first day of June in each
of the years from 1958 to~ 19~3, ~*lth interest ~ud penalties as provided by law.
Section V/ That this Council does hereby determine and re-determine to
proceed ~th ssid improvements, does ratify and confirm all other proceedings
heretofore had~in that regard, and s~id improvement~zhall hereafter be kno~m
and numbered as '~oCal improvements No.288,289,290,291,292,298,300,301,302,310,
311,312,312A, 313,314, 315,316,316A, 317,317A, 318,320,321,322,325,325A, 328,329,329A.
Section VI. This resolution shall t ske effect immediately upon its
passage. Roll Call - All Ayes.
