A Petition was received~for sanitary sewer exte~ion on 45th Avenue east of Taylor St. The OLty Engineer was asked to contact the party, wanting this extension to see if they would want to hire~ their own contractor, ~ A Petition was received for curb on 2} Street between 3?th an& 38th. The Council requested that this petition be returned as it did not contain enough signatures.' The Audit report was taken up at this time and County AttorneY, Bob Johnson was present and stated his stand on this matter was, .that if the City C. ouncil wants the Co~uty. Attorney,s office to investigate they ~ do so upon request. Resolution offered by Julkowski secomded by King, WHEREAS, a more effective and · better integrated County State Aid Highway system w~l~ result by adding to Route 4, the easterly extension of 49th Avenue N.E. to the intereection of Fair~ay Drive and Heights Drive, thence southerly following Heights Drive to its intersection with 45th Avenae N.E. (C.S.A.H. No.2), and I~RSUA~T TO AND IN COMPLIANCE with the provisions of-Article lb of the Constitution of the State of Minnesota as amended, and the provisions of Chapter 943 of the 19%7 La~s of ~tnnesota~ BE IT RESOLVED.' That effective January t, 1958, County State Aid Highway No.4 be established, located, and designated as beginning at the intersection of 49th Avenue N.E. and University Avenue N.E.
