Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Motion by King seconded by Julkowski, that the license ~plication of Roy Warner, 7360 Stinson Blvd. N.E. be granted. Roll Call - ~ll Ayes. Motioh by King seconded by Chies, that the City Manager be authori*.ed to set up a meeting with the County Attorney before the next meeting, in regards to the audit. Roll Call - Ail Ayes. Motion by King seconded by Chies, that this Petition be referred to the Planning & Zoning Commission. A Hearing was held. for ASphalt ~at on 4th Street from 47th to 48th. Motion by Julkowski seconded by Chies, authorizing the City Manager to proceed with this improve_.~ent. Roll call - Ail Ayes. A Hearing was held for Curb' on Hayes Street from 40th to 41st. Motion by King seconded by Chies, Authorizing the City Manager to proceed with this work. Roll CaLl - Ail Ayes. A hearing was held for sidewalk o~ east side of Hayes Street from 40th to 41st. The City Engineer reported that the VLllage of Fridley will hold a Hearing on the surfacing of 53rd Avenue fr~n University ~astward, and stated that we sheuld hold a hearing on this also as we wo~ld have to pay our .proportionate Motion by Ju!kowski seconded by Chies, that a public hearing be held at our next regular meeting, on surfacing of 53rd Avenue, east of Nniversity to · Washington Street. Motion by King seconded by Julkowski, that the Resolution establishing Municipal County State Aid Street, be amended ~o read: ~ 49th Avenue N.E. from its intersection~v~th Central ~Avenue - (Tru~ Highway 65) easterly to an intersection v~th.Fa~ay - Drive at West Upland~ Crest, thence alor~g Fai~vay Drive to its intersection with Heights Drive (Nunicipal State Aid~No.!05), except the center twenty-four (24) feet thereof, previously designated as a County State Aid Highway. A letter was received from the Library ~$ard stating they feel there is inadequate insurance on contents at Columbia Heights Library. Motion by Julkowski seconded by King, that this letter dated September 10,1957, be turned over to the City Manager. Roll Call - All Ayes. A letter was received from the Recreation Commission asking that a date be set for them to meet with the City Council regarding their budget. Motion by Julkowski seconded by King, that this letter dated September 12th, be place~ on file. Roll Call - All Ayes. A request was received to store a trailer at 3950 - 2nd Street, during the o~ers overstas services Motion by Chies seconded by King, that this request be granted, subject to re-consideration if there are any complaints. Roll Call - All Ayes. A request was received for street lights in Mathaire Addition. Motion by Julkowski seconded by King, that the City Manager be authorized to have in- ~g~l~,street lights at F~llmore Street & Pierce Terrace, Polk Place & Pierce Terrace and Polk Place & 50th Avenue N.E.
