ROI1 Ca~ -Chies, JulMcwski, Xing, Also present were m~abers of the Fridley Village Council, Village Manager, V~ age Engineer and Mr, Minder of the Xinder Engineering CompanT, and a number of residents, m~st of them from the RoslTn ~ark area. The project was explained fully and audience questions were answered. It was decided to meet with the State ~ Department next week in regard to it's share, the meeting to be att~ by aa man~ council members as possible, t_~ Engineers ahd Attorneys of both olmabia Heights and Fridley. Roll Call - Stopka, King, Julkowski - The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the proposed swimming pool with 'the I~micipal Swimming Pool Committee. Nr. Don ~iurphy reported ~n d~T camp activities this s~ummer, also on survey made by 18anicipal Swimming Pool Committee. ~. I~. Berney Smil~ of Sm!icy and Associates, an architectural firm, discussed construction and slides were shown. Mr. L.E. Riley of Northernaire Sw~nE Pool Co. was present and gave factors concerning cost of constructi6n. The Municipal Swimming Pool'Committee stated they would like action from Council authorizing them to hire au architect to draw up plans and specifications.
