errgr in the 1956 levy certified to the County Auditor as part of Local Improvement
No.282; and,

Addition, was levied for asphalt mat in' the amount of $47.61 (19%6 levy) as
part of Local Improvement No.282; and,

The City Engineer prewented a survey of the 1957 street construction and main-
tenance program, including a. map ~_udicating recommended work. He explained
that all items indicated upon the-map could not PossiBly be completed this .year,
but the map was only to be taken as an indication of needed work. He recommended
that no permanent surfacing be put on streets subject to storm sewer construetion,
~partic~Llarly 50th, 48th and 46th Avenues in Roslyn Park.

The City Engineer brought up the matter of an inspector needed for the new
sewer and water installation, which bids w~l~ be a~ardsd at the next meting.
He was authori~d to hire inspectors as he deemed necessary.

Nr. Holm presided as Chairman.
The purpose of the meeting is the awar ~ding of bid for North Trur~k Sanitary Sewer~
North Trunk Watermain, Storm Sewer, Sanitary and ~Vater Laterals, ~hich were
received March 26th.
The Engineer reported he had been requested by the low bid Contractor, that if
at all possible he would like' the bid em~arded as soon as possible, as he had
predicated his bid on the fact that he could start work as soon as possible so
that he might re-hire key personnel early after the winter lay-off. Also to
meet his completion date he would have to order materials as soon as possible.
Motion by Julkowski seconded by Knutson, that Lametti & Sons, St.Paul, Minnesota
be awarded this bid at a total amount of $262~257.83. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
