Discussion on problem of bus and street-car stops both being at N. W. corne~-
of 40t'h &OentraI ~ve. intersection. Recommended the t street car company
be requested to order their cars to stop on S. E. corner of said intersec-
tion. (City Manager reported that such a request has aIready been ~ade.)
Also Suggested that safety zone be set at proposed car-stop in front of
Standard' Service' Station and also that no-parking zone be set up there.
Mr. 'Hollopeter of Fire,oh's Civil Service Commission appeared before OounciI
regarding the advertising for appI£eants and hoIding of a Civil Service
examination for appointment of third megular man to the Fire Dept.
~esers. McLaughlin and M~llenmaster of NeilI McLaughlin Inc. were present
at meeting in regards to tag inventory system at municipal liquor store.

nate the F~rs% National Bank, the FideIity ~tate Bank and the Columbia.
Heights ~tate Bank as depositories for moneys of this city for a periodof
one year,, beginning the Ist day of January, I~4~, and the Treasurer of
this city is hereby directed to deposit moneys of this city in said banks;
and the said First National Bank, FideIity State Bank and Uolumbia Heights
~ta'te ~ank are hereby authorized and directed to honor and pay any checks
or orders, when signed by the Treasurer, for the withdrawal or transfer of
