trial; also to specify.that retraction be given as conspicuous a place in

in regards to difficulty in obtaining ansv~ers on fire calls. ~equested that
third regular man be placed on Fire Dept. so that some one ?.~ould be cn duty
at station ~4 hours a day.

~etion by Jackson, seconded by Lathrop, that City [~anager be authorized to
'purchase u, hatever materials are necessary for outfitting kitchen in the
Fire Station and provide accamodation for slee:pers. Roll Call -All ayes.
Attorney for /altsr Tunsky appeared before Council and requested that L~r.
Tunsky be allov~ed to operate his place of business until his c~se is tried
in District Court and final verdict of case is determined.

it would render the ordinance in question null and void as ~..ir. 'Tunsky has
already been found guilty of ordinance violation in the loc:'~,l court. Dis-

Wesolution offered by Jackson, seconded by Spekn!ant. B~ IT HEREBY RESCLVED
by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the City Treasurer
be and she is hereby instructed to make the following transfers from the
Liquor Fund to the designated funds: )140.00 to Fire Fund; ~960.00 to
Street Fund; ~ ,
~500.00 to Administration Fund; and that there are sufficient
.~:oneys in said Liquor Fund to make such transfers. Roll Call -Ail ayes.
