A special meeting of the Council u, as called by the City iJana!]er for the
purpose of discussing certain deals in connection '~Jith the acquisition of
site for Liquor Store. l~eeting was called to order at 8:,~0

~,~otion by Nygaard, seconded by Lathrop, that Spekulant be nan~ed chairman
of the meeting. Roll Call -All ayes.
City Hanager reported that he had inquired about some lots on Central
Ave. and that Lots ~5 and ~9 Block 5 Reservoir Hills Add. were for sale
for a 3rice of $5000.00
~,otion by Lathrop, seconded by Nysaar~, that City i,~anaf~sr be instructe~
to arrange for the acquisition of said lots (Lots ~8 and ~9 Block 5
Reservoir Hills Addition) and that a check be issued' in the a,uount of
~500.00 as down pay~uent thereon. ~oi1 ~all - Ail ayes.
~esolution offered by Nygaard, seconded by Lathrop. BE IT HEREBY RESCLVED
by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights that the City Treas-
urer be and she is hereby instructed to transfer the su~:~ of ~500.00 from
the Liquor Fund to the Building Fund; and that there are sufficient moneys
in said Liquor Fund to make such transfer. ~,oll Call - AIl ayes.
