The meeting was called to order at 8:20 P.M.

L',inutes of the previous regular and adjourned meetings read and aDproved
with the follo,:,ing correction in the Dec. l~th minutes: that ~ortion of
said ninutes ~'~nich reads "that bid of P'~rh Shaug,hnessey & Co. and C. S.
Ashmun Co. is hereby found and determined to be the highest and best bid

Discussion on proposals on sewer extension in the City as submitted by
Ralph D. Thomas & Associates and Hitchcock & Estgr~brook Co. Representa-
tives from both companies were present at the meeting and discussed the
project with the Council.

Second reading of resolution awarding bid for City ?umping service to the

Diatter of compensation insurance discussed.
Motion by ~entzen, seconded by Spekulant, that City Manager be instructed
