Motion by Jackson seconded by Soekm~lant that netitlon concerning alley between Central Avenue and Van Burmm St. South of 40th Ave. be turned over to the City Manager for investigation. ~oll Call - all ayes Notion by Bentzen seconded by Jackson to cancel licenses held by Oscar Chalman for 547 - 40th Ave. N. E. Ed Thye regarding the sponsoring of the film "THIS IS THE J~ql~f" for the benefit of Arnp~ Emergency Relief be turned over to the Civic Imorovement Assosiation or any other active organization. Roll Call - all eyes. The City Nan~ger gave a reoort of the convention of City Nanagers held Sect. 10th - 13th in Chicago. Notion by ~entzen seconded by l~ygsard that Chief of Police is instructed to send whomever he w~shes to the Au_~ilisry Police School at Fort Snelling the 18th and 19thsf Seotember and then to turn in a bill to the City Co~cil.
