Regular meeting of the "+ .
April 27, 1943. All members were present.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
'Resolution offered by Jackson, seconded by Spekulant: The City, Council of the
City of Columbia Heights does hereby resolve: That the City Treasurer be and he
hereby is authorized to take the s~nn: of $5,000 from the Sinking Fund and invest
said monies in United States Defense Bonds. Roll Call - all nyes.
}dotion by kygaard seconded by Bentzen that the letter from the Civic
Improvement Association concerning protection for victor.v gardens be turned over
to the City Attorney for his im~mediate attention. Roll Call - all Ayes.
Lotion by Bentzen seconded by Jackson that the matter concerning Lr. kcPherson's
assessment be placed on file until the next meeting ,~hen the City Council ~.,~dll take
some action. Roll Call -- all ayes.

to operate a filling station with two pumps at 573 - 40th Ave. h. E. t(oll Call - all ayes.

letter to [irs. Trucker thanking her for her lett'er and hoping for her speedy recovery.
