Regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 8:25P.M. on March
23, 1943. All members i~resent.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approval.
Motion by Jackson seconded by Nygaard to grant permission to the Spring Lake
Bus Co. %o use the City Streets of Columbia Heights for the Transportation of
children-and adults to and from Church and Sunday School. These people coming
from the-out-laying districts. Roll Call - Ail Ayes,
Motion by Jackson seconded 'by Nygaard to grant the request of Walter lOApp
to Cancel. his on and off sale beer license. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Motion by Nygaard seconded by Bentzen to grant the on and off sale beer license. &
restaurant license of Oscar Chalman at 547 40th Ave. N.E. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Motion by Bpekulant seconded by Bentzen to turn over to the City Manager the
pe~ition for the fixing of the alley between Madison & Mouroe St. from 40th to 41st
Ave. N.E. R~I1 C~11- ~11 Ayes
Ordinance offered by Bentzen seconded by ~ygaard being an ordinance regulating
the Fire Department of the City of Columbia Heights a~i Amending Ordinance Ho. 122
Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
Motion by Bentzen secomied by Jackson to appoint Mr. Francis VonDelI aa a member
of the Park Board for another 5 years. Roll Call - Ail Ayes.
