Regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 8:30 PM on Feb.
9th, 1943. Ail members _oresent.
Motion by Jackson seconded by Spekulant to grant an Electrician License to
0.B, Thompson, 5609 Chicago Ave. Roll Call - All Ayes.
Motion by Nygaard seeded by Bentzen to grant Cigarette License to
Marie gessler, AO10 Central and'Helen Primmer, 4007 Central Ave. Roll Call - Ail

the Industrial Elec. Co., BI0 - 3rd Ave. So. Mole.' Roll Call - Ail ayes
Motion b y Bentzen seconded by Spekatlant that we establish a position
of Sargeant on the Police Force and notify the Civil Service Commission and
Police Chief. This position to be filled by examination and that a~ person

to be conducted by the League of Minne~ Municipalities. HAll Call - all ayes

the same as the other~ girls in Liquor Store or 51¢ oer ho~. Roll Call - All Ayes.
