Addition to motion regarding mail .distribution on ROute 8 - commending the ~lty Man~ger for his efficient manner of handling the matter. Motion by Jackson, seconded by Pritchard to grant Fred J. Frasier an electrical license. Roll c~ll - All ayes. Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Jackson, that the request of Mr. Moline for revocation of off and on sale licenses be gr~uted. Roll call - All ayes. Motion by Jackson, seconded by ~pekulant that the request for restaurant, 'off and on sale license by Earl H. ~mith for 4001 Central A~-e. be granted. P~ll call a 'All ayes. Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Spekulant that the request for restaurant off and on sale license for 500 - 40th Ave. be held over for customary two weeks for investigation. Roll call - All ayes. Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Jackson, that the tree ordinance be turned over to the P~rk Board for revamping. Roll c~ll - Al! ayes. Motion by Bent~en, seconded by Pritchard, that the City Manager be instruct ed to advise the County Bo~rd that 40th Ave. from University to Main St. is ready for improvement. Resolution offered by ~itohard, meco~ed bL' Be~tze~¥~The City Council of the City of Columbia Heights Lereby resolve~: T~t the City Treasurer be and she hereby is authorized and instructed to transfer the s~m of Five Hundred ($500.) Dollars from the Liquor Fund to the ~nd F~ud, and the Oity Council hereby finds that there i2 sufficient surplus monies in the Liquor Fund to make such transfer. Roll call - All ayes. Resolution offered by Jack~on, seconded by Pritch~rd, The City Council of the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolves: That there be and there hereby is created a fund to be known as the "Band .~und" That such fund shall be u~ed to maintain a Municipal Band to be designated as Columbia Heights M,muicipal Band That the said banA shall be under the supervision of the Columbia Heights Park Bo~rd, which board shall authorize ~11 ex- penditures of public funds incurred by said band.
