Regular meeting called to order May 27th, 19~1. All members present.
Previous minutes read and approved, with ad ~ition of date of May !Sth
to the Garbage collection motion.
Y_otion by Pritc_hard, seconded by Jackson, that the City ~ianager be
instructed to ~,vrite Postmaster Coan a letter regarding mail delivery
on 50th & 5th, copy to go to Floyd Chase, also. Roll call -All ayes.
Motion by Bent~en, seconded by Oackson, to renew the membership in
the Minnesota ~unicipal Liquor Stor'~s ass'n in the amount of ~10
Roll call - ~ll ayes.
Motor Grade~bids. ~[otion by Bent~en, seconded by Pritchard, that
a special ~eeting be held Thursday evening, ~.~ay 29th, to go over
the grader bids. Roll call - All ayes.
City Man~.ger Reported on right of way from North.'~rn Pump.
I'~iotion by fritchard, seconded by ~ackson, t!~t memb~r~ of the Council
be allowed ~50.00 expenses each, to attend' the convention st Winona,
June 16-17 and 18th. Roll call - ~ll aves.
Motion by bent-en, seconded by Spekulant that the Manager of the Liquor
~tore be allowed .~5.00 for expenses to attend above Convention. Roll

Letter from N. W. Linseed Co. asking for' permit to operate plant
at 3700 - 5th St. for storage'of grain, manufacture' and storage of
linseed oil, meal', feeds, etc. [~'Iotion by Pritchard, seconded by
Jackson, that permit be granted subject to committee's investigation
and report. Roll call -Ail ayes.

owners of property abutting alley from ~.,0th to ~lst between Madison
& Monroe that the alley be cut to proper profile, be turned over to
