Regmlarr meeting called to order April'22nd. All members present.
Previous minutes rea~ and approved, with addition to the motion regarding towing
by Johnson Bros. viz~ charges ~2.50 each car towed in from 9 P.M. to 7 A.Mo and
$1.50 from 7 A.M. to 9 P M. - Storage charges wilt ~e. 50¢ per day on each car.
Representatives from Johnson St. Com'l C!~.b heard with reference to cutting
Johnson St. through to meet the Anoka Cut~.off.
~~i~ve from Nothern Pumo Comoany heard with reference to starting a club
for N~r~ther. n Pmmp ~ompany, asking for beer license.
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Bentzen, that W W. Luehrs be granted an elec-
trical license. Roll call - All ayes.
Letter read from Minnesota Safety Council, regarding award. Motion bM Pritc~a~d,
seconded by Jackson, that the City ~anager answer same, accepting June 20th as, the
date of oresentation of award and stating that arrangements will be mad~ later.~
Roll call - All ayes.
Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Jackson, that the letter from the Co~,umbia Heights
Co~nercial Club regarding traffic conditions be turned over to the City M~naJger
to see what can be done with their recommendations and report back at the neet
meeting. Roll call - All ayes.
Resolution offered by Bentzen, seconded by Jackson, The City Council.of the City
of Columbia Heights hereby ~esolves:
That the City Co~cil hereby requests'and instructs the County Auditor of Anoka
County to remove from the assessment roll the assessment for Local Improvement
~85 now standing against Lot 44, Block 6, Reservoir Hills f'or the reason that
the same has been paid in full. Roll call - All ayes.
Motion~by Pritchard, seconded by Jackson, that the following election judges be
appointed:

ayes: (Alterna%e judges at Field House, in case the above do not accept, to be

Motion by Jackson, seconded by Pritchard, that the City Manager be authorized to
rent building from August Peterson (40th & Jackson) at ~0.00 per month, for use as
a Library, providing it is acceptable to the Library Board and the City Council
when repaired. Roll call - All ayes.
