Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Soekulant that Ryland Nyberg be granted an electrical
license. Roll call - All a~es.
Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Jackson, to olace on file the letter from Senator Ship-
stad regarding the approval of project No. 50272 in the amount of $11~,741. for im-.
pr~ving streets. Roll call - All ayes.
Reading of Fire Truck Bids. After some discussion the Council decided to meet Wednes-
day evening to discuss the merits of the different trucks. ~
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Soekulant that the letter from the Col~m~..ia Heights
Com'l Club be placed on file. (Regarding thru street to Northern Pu~) Roll call -
all ayes.
Motion by Pritchord, seconded by Jackson that the City Manager is instructed to draw
no proposed plans and profiles on the highwa~v from 4Srd passing over 44th A~e. to the
City limits from boundary to boundary. RoLl call - All ayes.
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Jackson, that the City Manager be authorized to in-
stall two-wa~ radio in the oolice car. Roll~ call - All ayes.
Motion by Bentzen, seconded by Soekulant to re-aoooint I~r Bl~nenthal as Health Commi-
ssioner. Roll call - All ayes.
Motion by Jackson, seconded by Bentzen, that the City l~anager be authorized to accuire
Lots 15,16,17, B~cck 2, Silver Lake Addition. Roll call - All ayes.
Resolution offered by Jackson, seconded by Pritchard, The City C_uncil of the City of
Columoim Heights hereby remlves: That the City Council hereby authorizes and directs
the City Treasurer to transfer $100. from the #Liouor Vund# t the Mayors Contingent
Vund, and the City Council hereby finds that thare is sufficient monies in the #Licuor
Fundm to make such transfer. Roll call - All ayes

Ordinance licensing and regulating the sale at retail of non-intoxicating malt lieuors
an~ providing a oenalty for the violation thereof.
Motion by Pritchard, seconded by Jackson, to accept the bid of American Cast Iron Pice
Co. as the lowest responsible bidder on olde and fittings. Roll call -All ayes.
Ordinance $173 offered by Pritchard, seconded by Soekulant - Being and Ordinance regu-
lating the licensing and operating of Trailers ~ud Trailer Camos. Roll call - All
ayes.
Resolution offered by Bentzen, ~conded by Spekulant The City Co~mcil of the City of
Columbia Heights hereby Resolves: That the City Treasurer be and she hereby is authori-
zed and directed to transfer $2000. from the "Liouor ?unA" to the W.P.A. Water Project
Fund and the City Council hereby finds that there is sufficient monies in the "Lieuor
