BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE HEATING AND VENT-
ILATING LICENSING ORDINANCE OF THE CiTY OF COLUMBIA
HEIGHTS.
THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1.
No person shall construct, install, alter repair,
service or clean any air handling equipment and air
distribution systems in connection with air condition-
ing, fan heating, ventilation, or warm air heating
systems (including furnace cleaning) in any building
or structure within the city, or engage in or carry
on the business of so doing, without first ~ving
secured a license from the City Council authorizing
him to do so.
Section 2.
Section 3.
The provisions of this ordinance shall not apply to
any person licensed to do heating and ventilating work
in the city under the existing ordinances.
License and permit fees for the foregoing shall be as
established annually by resolution of the City Council
of the City of Columbia Heights, under Heating and
Ventilating.
Section
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after thirty days after it's passage.
