HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 662ORDINANCE NO. 662 BEING AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE BY THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE KNOWN AS: THAT PART OF THE NORTH ONE-.HALF OF LOT THREE (3), EXCEPT THE EAST ONE HUNDRED FIFTY (150) F:EET, LYING WEST OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS: BEGIN- NING AT A POINT ON THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID LOT A DISTANCE OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE (129) FEET WEST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT'~ THENCE WEST ALONG ~THE SOUTH LINE A DISTANCE OF SIXTY AND 49/100 (60.49) FEE~r THENCE NORTHWESTERLY TO A POINT ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT A DISTANCE OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-THREE AND 69/100 (253.69) FEET WEST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT, THENCE EAST ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT TO A POINT WHICH IS ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE (155) FEET WEST OF THE NORTHEASTERLY CORNER OF SAID LO~, THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING~ BLOCK TWELVE (12)r AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION OF WALTON'S SUN.ixlif ACRES THIRD, ACCORDING TO THE DULY RECORDED MAP OR PLAT THEREOF ON FILE AND OF RECORD IN THE OFFICE OF THE REGISTER OF DEEDS IN AND FOR ANOKA COUNT~ STATE OF MINNESOTA. THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. Authorization of Sale of Real Estate. That the City of Columbia Heights shall sell and convey unto Frank T. Maas and Kathleen Maas that certain tract of land lying and being in the County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, described as follows, to-wit: That part of the NQrth One-Half of Lot Three (3), except the east one hundred fifty (150) feet· lying west of the following described property to the City of Columbia Heights: Beginning at a point on the south line of said lot a distance of one hundred twenty-nine (129) feet west of the southeast corner of said lot, thence west along the south line a distance of sixty and 49/100 (60.49) feet, thence northwesterly to a point on the north line of said tot a distance of two hundred fifty-three and 69/100 (253.69) feet west of the northeast corner of said tot· thence east along the north line of said lot to a point which is one hundred fifty- five (155) feet west of the Northeasterly corner of said lot, thence south- easterly to the point of beginning, Block twelve (12)· Auditor's Subdivision of Walton's Sunny Acres Third· according to the duly recorded map or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Anoka County, State of Minnesota. Subject to sewer and water easements over and under the above described property. Section 2. Terms and Conditions of Sale. That the terms of sale of said property to Frank T. Maas and Kathleen Maas, shall be for cash in the amount of $25.00. Section 3. Mayor and City Manager to Execute Documents. The Mayor and City 1Vranager be~ and the same are hereby authorized to execute and deliver to said purchaser the necessary deeds for carrying out the terms of this Ordinance. ~ Section 4. Time of Taking Effect. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after thirty (30i days after its passage.
