BEING AN ORDINANCE LICENSING AND REGULATING THE USE OF
BOV~rLING ALLEYS.
THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN:
Section '1. ,
No person, firm or corporation shall operate any commercial bowling alley
without being licensed under this ordinance.
Section 2.
Any person, firm or corporation desiring to be licensed shall apply to the
City Clerk on forms to be provided by the City Clerk, giving such information as
may be required. No license shall be issued until first approved by the City
Council of the City of Columbia Heights.
Section 3. License Fee.
The annual license fee shall be set by the City Council by Resolution each
year.
Section 4.
Revocation and Suspension of License.
Any license issued hereunder may be revoked or suspended by the City
Council at any time l. after a proper hearing.
Section 5. Separability.
Should any section, subdivision, clause, or other provision of this
ordinance be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such
decision shall not effect the validity of the ordinance as a whole nor of any
part thereof other than the part so declared to be invalid.
Section 6. Penalty.
Any person violating this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $100.00 or by
imprisonment for a period not to exceed 90 days.
Section 7'.' Time of Taking Effect.]
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after Thirty (30)
days after its passage.
