BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 538 BEING
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 462 BEING AN
ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE ~F PROMOTING HEALTH, SAFETY,
ORDER, CONVENIENCE, AND GENERAL WELFARE BY REGULATING
THE USE OF LAND, THE DOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS AND
THE ARRANGEMENT OF BUILDING LOTS, AND THE DENSITY OF
POPULATION IN THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS; that reads:
"THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That those portions of Lots 5, 6, and 9 in Block E, Columbia Heights
Annex not presently zoned heavy industrial, be and the same, are hereby
rezoned to M-2 industrial.
Section 2o (a) That appropriate fencing be installed on the North, East, and West sides°
(b) A seventeen (17) foot buffer strip be maintained on the northerly
17 feet of lot 5 and the fence placed 17 feet south of and parallel to the
no~th line of lot 5.
(c) The fence on the east side along Lookout Place to be placed 12 feet
west of the east property line of lots 5 and 6, and said strip to be
landscaped so as to camoflage the contents of said area°
(d) Access to said property to be from University Avenue onlyo"
SHALL BE AMENDED TO READ:
"THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That those portions of lots 5, 6, and 9 in Block E, Columbia Heights
Annex not presently zoned heavy industrial, be and the same, are hereby
rezoned to M-2 industrial."
Section 2. This ordinance does specifically rescind section 2 of original
ordinance #538.
Section 3- This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after 30 days
after its passage.
