BEING AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE BY THE CITY
OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS OF CERTAIN PARTS OF LOTS 14, 15,
16 AND 17, BLOCK 8, HILLTOP.
THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Authorization of sale of real estate.
That the City of Columbia Heights shall sell and convey unto Myron W.
and Maxine Lundquist, those certain tracts of land lying and being in the
County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, described as follows, to-wit:
That part of Lot 17, Block 8, Hilltop, Anoka County, Minnesota,
described as folloWs: Beginning at the most Northerly corner of
said Lot 17; thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly tine of
said Lot 17, a distance of 3.63 feet to a point of intersection with
a line parallel with and distant' 100.15 feet South, as measured
along the West line of Lot 20, said Block 8, from the North tine
of said Lot 20; thence Westerly along said parallel line, a distance
of 4.27 feet to a point in the Northwesterly line of said Lot 17;
thence Northeasterly along said Northwesterly line, a distance
of 2.23 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
2. That part of Lot 16, Block 8, Hilltop, Anoka County, Minnesota,
described as follows: Beginning at the most Northerly corner of
said Lot 16; thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line of
said Lot 16, a distance of 25.28 feet to a point of intersection with
a line drawn Southwesterly from the most Easterly corner of Lot
20, said Block 8, to a point on a line parallel with and distant
100.15 feet South (as measured along the 'VVest line of said Lot
20) from the North line of said Lot 20, said point being 94.14
feet distant East from the West line of said Lot, as measured
along said parallel' line; thence Southwesterly along said line
drawn Southwesterly from the most Easterly corner of said Lot 20,
a distance of 31.75 feet to said point on a line drawn parallel
with and distant 100. t5 feet South from the North line of said
Lot 20, which point is also 94.14 feet East from said West line;
thence West along said parallel line, a distance of 38.74 f~et 'to
· the Southwesterly line of said Lot 16; thence Northwesterly along
said Southwesterly line, a distance of 3.63 feet 'to the most
Westerly corner of said Lot 16; thence Northeasterly along the
Northwesterly line of said Lot 16, to the point of beginning.
3. That part of Lot 15, Block 8, Hilltop, Anoka County, Minnesota,
described as follows: Beginning at the most Northerly corner of
said Lot 15; thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line of
said Lot 15, a distance of $.89 feet to a point of intersection with
a line drawn Southwesterly from the most Easterly corner of,Lot 20,
said Block 8, to a point on a line parallel with and distant 100. t8
feet South (as measured along the West tine of said Lot 20) from
the North line of said Lot 20, said point being 94.14 feet distant
East from the 'VVest line of said Lot as measured along said parallel
line; thence Southwesterly along said line drawn Southwesterly from
the most Easterly corner of said Lot 20, a distance of 53.61 feet
to the Southwesterly line of said Lot 15; thence Northwesterly
along said Southwesterly line, a distance of 25.28 feet to the
most Westerly corner of sa'id Lot 15; thence Nor~-heasterly along
the Nor[hwesterly line of said Lot 15, to the point of beginning.
That part of Lot 14, Block 8: Hilltop, Anoka County, Minnesota,
described a s follows: Beginning at the most Westerly corner of
said Lot 14; thence Northeasterly along the Northwesterly line of
said Lot 14, a distance of 15.20 feet to the most Easterly corner
of Lot 20, said Block 8; thence Southwesterly along a line drawn
to a point 94.14 feet distant East from the West line of said Lot
20, as measured along a line parallel with and distant 100.15 feet
South (as,measured along the West line of said Lot 20) from the
North line of said Lot 20, a distance of 16.29 feet to the South-
westerly line of said Lot 14; thence Northwesterly along said
Southwesterly line of Lot 20, a distance of 5.89 feet to the point
of beginning.
together with all the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in anywise appurtaining.
Section 2. Terms and conditions.
That the terms of sale of said property to the said Myron W. and Maxine
Lundquist shall be as follows: One Dollar ($1.00) and Myron and Maxine
Lundquist shall convey unto the City of Columbia Heights
That part of Lot 20, Block 8, Hilltop, Anoka County, Minnesota,
lying South of a line parallel with, and 100.15 feet South (as measured
along the West line of said Lot 20) from the North tine of said Lot
20.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Manaqer to execute the documents.
The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute and deliver
to the said purchaser, the necessary deed for carrying out the terms of this
Ordinance upon receipt of an executed deed as outlined in Section 2 hereof.
Section 4. Time of Takinq Effect._
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force within thirty (30) days after
its passage.
