REPAIR tND R~OV~ OF BUILDINGS WITHIN
THE CITY OF COL~BIA HEIGHTS."
THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 5, Article (H) of said
amendment which reads, "All new buildings must be built
in line with the buildings already in the block; But in
a vacant block where no line has been established all
buildings shall be placed 25 feet from lot line to main
part of house. All buildings costing $1,500.00 or more
must be placed on a foundation. All partitions over (6)
six feet in length must have at least 2 by 4 studdings set
crosswise;' and Section 5, Article (I), "Any completed
building costing less than $1,500.00 exclusive of plumb-
ing and heating must be built on back of lot.," be and the
same is hereby repealed·
Section 2. That in place and in stead of said
Section 5, Articles (h) & (i) of above amendment re-
pealed by Section i hereof, the following shall be in-
serted:
That no dwelling costing less than $2,500.00
exclusive of plumbing and heating be hereinafter con-
structed within the City of Columbia and that no dwell-
ing shall be constructed on any property fronting or
in any wise touching Stinson Boulevard of less than
$5,O00.O0 exclusive of plumbing and heating.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days from and/~er its passage.
