BEING AN 0RDI~ANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING
HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, CONVENIENCE AND GENERAL
WELFARE, BY REGULATING THE USE OF LAND, THE
LOCATION AND THE USE OF BUILDINGS AND THE AR*
RANGEMENT OF BUILDING LOTS, AND THE DENSITY OF
POPULATION IN THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS.
THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There shall be added to Ordinance #171
the following:
Section 1. Re-zoned Area. That Lots 14, 15 and
18 in Block 69, Columbia Heights Annex to Minneapolis,
previously zoned as residential, be and the same are hereby
declared as being zoned for industrial purposes.
That Lot 18, Block 5, Reservoir Hills, except
the North 155 feet thereof previously zoned as residential,
be and the same hereby is zoned for commercial purposes.
That that part of Block "F", Columbia Heights
Annex to Minneapolis, lying South of 39th Avenue N. ~. which
has previously been zoned for residential purposes (City Park
Property) be and the same is hereby zoned for industrial purposes.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
