HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 795CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES · COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA 55421 ORDINANCE #795 BEING AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE BY THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE KNOWN AS THE EASTERLY FIFTEEN (15) FEET OF THE WESTERLY 167.3 FEET OF LOT TWELVE [12), BLOCK TWO [2t, REARRANGEMENT OF BLOCK "A'' OF MAP OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS ANNEX TO MINNEAPOLIS. THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. Authorization of Sale of Real Estate. That the City shall sell and convey onto Frank A. Matthews and Mary J. Matthews, husband and wife, as joint tenants, that certain tract of land lying and being in the County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, described as follows: The Southerly 52 feet of the Easterly Fifteen [15) feet of the Westerly 167.3 feet of Lot Twelve (12), Block Two (2), Rearrangement of Block of Map of Columbia Heights Annex to Minneapolis together with all hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. And the City shall sell and convey onto Howard L. Mumbleau and Alice M. Mumbleau, husband and wife, as joint tenants, subject to an easement for drivewaY purposes to Frank A. Matthews and Mary J. Matthews, husband and wife, as joint tenants, that certain tract of land lying and being in the County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, described as follows: The Northerly 56.35 feet of the Easterly Fifteen (15) feet of the Westerly 167.3 feet of Lot Twelve [12), Block Two (2), Rearrangement of Block "A" of the Map ~f Columbia Heights Annexto Minneapol is tog~her with alt hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. Sect on 2. Terms and Conditions. That the terms of sale of said property shall be as follows: $150.00 cash upon delivery of Quit Claim Deeds to purchasers and other good and valuable considerations. Sect on 3. Mayor and City Manager to Execute the Documents. The M~or and City Manager be and the same are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver to the said purchaser the necessary deed for carrying out the terms of this ordinance. Sect on 4. Time of Taking Effect. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after thirty (30) days after its passage.
