GLiLATItqG THE ERECTION, PLACEMENT, AND MAINT~._~NM~CE OF FENCES IN THE CITY OF COLU~,iBZA HEIGHTS,, THE CI!Uf OF COLLS~IA H:JiGHTS DOES ORDD_IN: Section 1. That Section I (f) of Ordinance No. 599 which now reads: Barbed Wire Fence Prohibition. Barbed wire fences shall not be permitted, used, or constructed except in indumtrial districts as Is now amended to read: Section Barbed ~re fences shall not be permitted, used, or constrt~cted except in industrial districts and upon property used for a p~blic purpose~ Section 1 (i) 2 which now reads: Fences in industrial districts which are l~rimarily erected as a security measure may have arms projecting into the applicant's property on which barbed wire can be fastened~ commencing at a point at least seven (7) feet above ground, and Is now amended to read: Section 3- Section. Fences in industrial districts and. upon property used for a public purpose which are primarily erected as a security measure~ may have a~rms projecting into the applicant's property on which barbed wire can be fastened: commencing at a point at least seven (7) feet above ground~ and Should any section~ subdivision~ clause or other provision of this ordin~ ce be declared by a Court of com?etent jurisdiction to invalid, such decision shall not effect the validity of the ordinance as a whole nor any part thereof other than the part so declared to be invalid. Any person violating this ordinance shall b e guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a ~%ne not to exceed $300.00 or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days or both.
