HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 426ORDINANCE NO. 426 BEING AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.171, BEING AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, CONVENIENCE AND GENERAL WELFARE BY REGULATING THE USE OF BUILDING LOTS AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION IN THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA. THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN: Section I. That paragraph 6 under Section lt-A of Ordinance No.171, which reades follows: To permit the location of any of the following uses in a district from which they are excluded by the provisions of this ordinance: Airport, community center, hospital, professional offices, any institution of educational philanth~Qpic or charitable nature; cemetary, creamatory, mausoleum or any other place for the disposal of the human dead, and be and is hereby amended to read as follows: e To permit the location of any of the following uses in a district from which they are excluded by the provisions of this ordinance: Airport, community center, hospital, professional offices, any insti- tution of educational philanthropic or charitable nature, crematory, mausoleum or any other place for the disposal of the human dead, and Bus, taxi, truck terminals and storage facilities, ~a£1~oadrli~es~l~purs ~nd~/passenger terminals, but not railroad yards. Section II. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after thirty (30) days after its passage.
