HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 425 An Ordinance regulating the purchase, consumption, possession of
non-intoxicating an~t intozicating liquors within the City of Columbia
Heights, and imposing penalty for the violation thereof. The City Council
of the City of Columbia Heights does ordain:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any :
(1) Licensee or his employee to sell or serve non-intoxicating malt
liquor to any minor or to permit any minor to cons~e non-intoxicating
malt liquor on the licensed premises unless accompanied b~' his parent or
legal guardian:
(~) Person other than the parent or legal guardian to procure non-
intoxicating malt liquor for any minor:
(3) Person to induce a minor to purchase or procure non-intoxicatin~
malt liquor;
(&) Minor to misrepresent his age for the purpose of obtaining non-
intozicating malt liquor;
(5) Minor to cons~e any non-intoxicating malt liquor unless in the
company of his parent or guardian;
(6) ~inor to have in his possession any non-intoxicating malt liquor,
with intent to consume s~e at a place other than the household of his
parent or guardian. Possession of such non-intoxicating malt liquor at a
place other than the household of his parent or guardian shall be prima
facie evidence of intent to cons~e the same at a place other than the
household of his parent or guardian.
Section ~. That any violator of this ordinance within the City of
Columbia tIeights shall oe guilty of misdemeanor and shall be p~ished
by a fine not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($t00.00) or Dy impriso~ent
for a period not to exceed ninety days.
