A2~ ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE ENTERING UPON ANY
PUBLIC OR PRIVATE GOLF COURSE IN THE CITY OF
COLU]~BIA HEIGHTS WITHOUT AUTHORIZED PERMISSION;
AhTD PROHIBITING THE SALE OF GOLF ~ALLS AND OTHER
GOLF EQUIPi~-~NT UNDER THE CONDITIONS SET FORTH
HE~IN
THE CITY OF OOLN~BIA HEIGHTS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Unauthorized Entrance Upon Golf Course
Prohibited. No person shal~ enter or go upon t~'e premises of any public
or private golf course in the City of Columbia Heights except for the
~purpose of transacting legitimate business thereon without the
authority or permission of persons in charge of such golf course.
Section 2. Removal of Abandoned Golf Balls or Other
Equipment on Golf Course 'Prohibited. No person n'o'~' auth'~'iz'ed to play
upon any public or priVate. golf course in the City of Columbia Heights
shall remove from any s~ch golf course any golf balls or other golfing
equipment lost or abandoned by players on such golf course unless
'~uthorized so to do by persons in charge on any such course.
Section ~. Selling of Golf Balls and other Go!fins
Equipment Prohibited under Com-diti-0n's' H~;~rein ~e~ Fbrth.' '~'o person
shall sell or offer'for sale upon any p~b~ic or private ,golf course1
in the City of Col~mbia Heights to any person or persons then being
upon any such golf course~any golf balls or other golfing equipment
unless authorized so to do by the person or persons in charge of such
golf course.
Section ~. Penalty. Any person violating the provisions of
this ordinance shall b~ guil'ty of a misdemeanor and be punished by
fine of not less then Five (~8.00) Dollars, and not more then Thirty
($$0.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment not to exceed thirty days.
Section 5. Ti~e of Taking Effect. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force from and after thi'r't'y days (30) after its
passage.
