violate ~ny of the provisions of this ordinance~ shall be
punished by a~fine of not more than $100.00 or by imprison-
ment for not to exceed ninety days.
Section 4. That the City Clerk shall cause this
ordinance to be posted on ten bulletin boards located in
the most public places of the City for a period of two

ORDINANCE ~
Relating to and prohibiting the delivery of milk, cream
or other dairy productS, bread or other bakery products,
grocery or other food or drink for human consumPtion, to con-
sumers during Certain hours and providing penalties for
violation.
The City of Columbia Heights does ordain:
Section 1. An "established route" within the meaning
of this ordinance, is a route usually and regularly traveled
for the purpose of delivering any of the products herein
named to consumers usually purchasing any thereof.
Section B. Between the hours of lB o'clock midnight
an~ 8 o'clock A.M. of s~uy day from November 1st to March
18th of any year, between the hours of lB: O0 o'clock mid-
night and 8:O0 o'clock A.M. of any 'day from March 18th to
November 1st of any year, no person, firm or corporation
shall deliver, or cause or permit to be delivered~ to con-
sumer or customer on regularly eEtablished routes in the .City
of Columbia Heights, any milk, creazG or other dairy products,
or bread or other bakery products, or groceries or other food
or drink for human consumption and between said hours no
person, firm or corporation shall drive, use or permit any
motor vehicle, or any vehicle, cart or wagon drawn by horses,
or other animals, ~wned, operated or controlled by him or it,
to be driven or used upon any street, avenue or &lley of said
city, for the purpose of delivering to consumers on established
routes any of the products, the delivery of which between said
hours is hereby prohibited.
