RESOLUTION AMENDING BY-LAWS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE COLISMBIA HEIGHTS FIRE DEPARTMENT
RELIEF ASSOCIATION, VOLUNTEER DIVISION:
ARTICLE VI, Section 6, of the By-Laws, which reads as follows, to-wit:
Section 6. VOLUNTEERS RETIRED PRIOR TO JANUARY 1, 1976. A volunteer
firefighter who is currently receiving service benefits and who re-
tired prior to January 1, 1976 shall receive service benefits as follows:
Service Pensions:
A. Volunteer firefighters who retired from being volunteers with the
Columbia Heights Fire Department on or before December 31, 1967, shall
receive $100.00 per month, plus an additional three dollars ($3.00) per
month for each year of service in excess of twenty (20) years.
B. Volunteer firefighters who retired from being volunteers with the
Columbia Heights Fire Department on or subsequent to January 1, 1968,
but prior to January 1, 1976, shall receive $125.00 per month plus an
additional three dollars ($3.00) per month for each year of service in
excess of twenty (20) years.
Any volunteer referred to in this paragraph shall receive no additional
benefit or benefits from the Columbia Heights Fire Department Relief Asso-
ciation or the City of Columbia Heights as a result of any such volunteer
serving as a Columbia Heights volunteer firefighter.

additional three dollars ($3.00) per month for each year of service in
excess of twenty (20) years.
Any volunteer referred to in this Article VI, Section 6 shall receive no
additional benefit or benefits from the Columbia Heights Fire Department
Relief Association or the City of Columbia Heights as a result of any such
volunteer servinE as a Columbia HeiEhts volunteer firefishter except for
the death benefit described in Article VI, Section 4 of these By-Lavs.
