WHEREAS, Councilman Gayle R. Norberg has or may possibly have
a financial interest in International Business Machine Corporation
and the City wishes to purchase an IBM Typewriter, Model 8~5 !1, and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined, based on the report of the
City Manager, that the purchase price is as low or lower than the
price at which this item could be purchased elsewhere, the City
Council of the City of Columbia Heights hereby resolves that the
sum of $864.00 be paid out of proper fund upon the filing
of an affidavit with the City Clerk in accordance with Minnesota
Statute S.471.8~, subdivision 3, by Councilman Norberg.

I. That affiant is a Councilman for the City of Columbia Heights.
2. That the commodities and services furnished and the amounts
thereof to which this affiant pertains are the following:
IBM $864.00
3. The reasonable value thereof of each commodity or service is
as listed above.
4. That your affiant may be a stockholder in the companies listed
or in companies owning the companies listed above.
That to the best of your affiant's knowledge and belief the
contract price on each item listed is as low, or lower than,
the price at which the commodity or service could be obtained
from other sources.
